The Ministry of Education has announced the release of placement results for the 2024/25 academic year for Senior High Schools (SHS) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.
According to the Ministry’s statement, out of 563,339 candidates’ results received from the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), 553,155 qualified for placement. Among these, 447,698 students, representing 80.93%, were automatically admitted to one of their selected schools.
However, 104,918 qualified candidates did not receive automatic placement in any of their chosen institutions. These students are encouraged to use the Self-Placement platform to select an available school of their choice.
Qualified students can check their placement by visiting the official CSSPS websites (https://www.cssps.gov.gh or https://www.cssps.org). By entering their ten-digit index number followed by the completion year, candidates can access their placement results.
