4 More Democracy Hub Protesters Charges Dropped

The Accra Circuit Court has dropped charges against four additional protesters from the Democracy Hub after the state withdrew its case.

The discharged individuals—Cedric Bansah, Emmanuel Offei, Nana Amo Mensah Prempeh, and Thomas Yeboah are among those arrested during the protests that took place from September 21 to September 23.

This decision follows the prosecution’s announcement that new charges had been filed, replacing the original ones from September 25. The court has now discharged a total of 11 protesters, with seven others released earlier on October 22.
