President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has started a two-day tour of the Savannah, Northern, and North-East Regions today, Monday, October 14, 2024.
During the tour, the President will engage with the residents and highlight his administration’s achievements and ongoing projects aimed at enhancing the lives of people in these regions. The tour will conclude on Tuesday, October 15.
In addition to showcasing the government’s accomplishments, President Akufo-Addo will campaign for his Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate in the upcoming general elections. The tour is expected to boost support for Bawumia as he rallies constituents ahead of the December polls.
Several government officials and representatives from the presidency are accompanying the President to strengthen ties between the government and the local communities. The tour will address key regional issues, including education, healthcare, and infrastructure development, reinforcing the government’s commitment to regional progress and grassroots involvement in governance.
