The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has reached a staff-level agreement with Ghana for the disbursement of a fourth tranche of $360 million under the country’s $3 billion extended credit facility.

This agreement comes after a two-week review of Ghana’s fiscal data by IMF mission staff, who praised the country’s overall program performance and progress on debt restructuring.

The agreement is pending approval by the IMF Board, which, if granted, will bring Ghana’s total disbursements under the program to $1.92 billion. Stéphane Roudet, the IMF mission chief, confirmed the developments on Friday.
