Several parts of Accra have once again been submerged following a nearly three-hour torrential downpour on Saturday afternoon, causing widespread disruption to traffic and daily activities.

The rainfall, which began around 3:00 PM, coincided with peak commuting hours, worsening its impact on residents and motorists alike.

Heavily affected areas include Weija, Kaneshie, Adabraka, parts of Tema, and the Adentan-Dodowa stretch, where roads became impassable and vehicles were left stranded in floodwaters.
