The disqualification of Bernard Mornah, along with 10 others, came as a result of various irregularities in their nomination forms. Despite 39 people picking up passcodes to submit the forms, only 24 completed the process by the deadline, with two submitting after the 5 p.m. cutoff.

The EC has scheduled the balloting for positions on the ballot paper for the presidential candidates on Monday, September 23, 2024, and for parliamentary candidates on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.
