Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is set to officially file his presidential nomination today Monday, September 9, 2024, at the headquarters of the Electoral Commission in Accra.
He will be joined by his running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, along with key NPP leaders including the Party’s National Chairman, General Secretary, and the Majority Leader in Parliament.
Following the filing, Dr. Bawumia is expected to address party supporters and the public at the party’s headquarters.
Party members and the general public are encouraged to participate in what is described as a “historic moment” as the NPP embarks on the next chapter of its political journey.
