His Excellency Dr. Mokgweetsi Eric Keabetswe Masisi, President of the Republic of Botswana, has granted Batswana and residents an afternoon day-off today, Friday, August 9, 2024, to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Mr. Letsile Tebogo. This gesture comes as Tebogo becomes the first Motswana and the first African to win a Gold Medal in the 200m event in the history of the Olympics.
