John Dramani Mahama, the presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has pledged to rejuvenate Ghana’s economy and restore stability if he wins the 2024 presidential election.
During the party’s campaign launch in Tamale on Saturday, July 27, Mr. Mahama emphasized that his administration would prioritize job creation through the introduction of a 24-hour economy. This policy, he explained, would be supported by vigorous food production and the modernization of the agricultural sector.
“Four years is enough to reset the country,” he stated. “I will be truthful to you; I will never tell you lies.”
Mr. Mahama also called on voters to reject the current Akufo-Addo administration, which he accused of causing severe hardship for the Ghanaian populace.
