Mohammed Kudus, Inaki Williams, Nora Hauptle Lead Nominations for 2024 Ghana Football Awards: See full list

Mohammed Kudus is vying for a consecutive Footballer of the Year title, leading the nominations for the 2024 Ghana Football Awards.

The nominations for the 2024 Ghana Football Awards were announced at a launch event held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Big League Sports and Games Lounge in Osu, Accra.

Kudus, who was named Footballer of the Year in 2023 after surpassing Genk’s Joseph Paintsil and Lens’ Abdul Salis Samed, is again nominated in the same category. This year, he competes against Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Osman Bukari, and Inaki Williams.

In the Women’s Footballer of the Year category, Mukarama Abdulai, who played a crucial role in the Black Princesses’ gold medal win at the African Games and secured the Women’s Premier League title with Hasaacas Ladies, is nominated alongside Comfort Yeboah, Ophelia Amponsah, Bridget Adu, and Jennifer Kankam.

The nominees for Men’s Coach of the Year are Karim Zito, Desmond Offei, Nurudeen Amadu, and Kassim Mingle. For Women’s Coach of the Year, Black Queens’ Nora Hauptle is nominated against Yusif Basigi and Nana Joe Adarkwah.
