Ghanaian musicians,(All Stars), have come together to release a hit song to congratulate, encourage and inspire all frontline health workers who are actively fighting against coronavirus in the country.
The song titled Heroes of our time, has been making the airwaves and trending on social media in Ghana.
In the lyrics of the song, the singers congratulated and thanked the frontliners for their bravely sacrifices, risking their lives to save COVID-19 patients.
The All Stars in the video are seen taking their turn to sing their part of the song. The song was released at a health meeting held at Marriott Hotel in Accra under the theme, ‘One million PPE for Frontline Health Workers Campaign.’
Recall, on March 12, 2020, the Ministry of Health confirmed two COVID-19 imported cases in Ghana, which caused fear and panic in the country. Ghana has since recorded 46,153 active cases, with 299 deaths and 45,299 recoveries.
The likes of Joe Mettle , Empress Gifty , Mr Drew, Krymi, Cwesi Oteng, Ohemaa Mercy, Lamisi all starred in the Covid19 song.
