Celebrities Flock to Lilwin’s “A Country Called Ghana” Movie Premiere

The highly-anticipated premiere of Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin’s movie, “A Country Called Ghana,” was a resounding success, filling every seat in the house.

Held at the National Theatre on Friday, May 17, 2024, the glamorous event attracted a stellar lineup of Ghanaian and Nigerian celebrities, including Medikal, Kalybos, Guru, and Akrobeto.

The occasion was further graced by prominent personalities such as Awilo Sharp Sharp, Ahuofe Patri, David Osei, D Cryme, and Kofi Akpaloo, leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG).

With the presence of these A-listers, the event was nothing short of spectacular. Attendees who spoke with GhanaWeekend after the premiere lauded Lilwin for organizing such a successful event.

“A Country Called Ghana,” a collaborative effort between Ghanaian and Nigerian filmmakers, was directed by Fiifi Gha bin and produced by Lilwin.

The film features an array of legendary African actors, including Ramsey Nouah, Charles Awurum, Victor Osuagwu (also known as Awilo Sharp Sharp), PAA George, Sweet Mimi, and Lilwin, among others.

Following its debut in Accra, the premiere tour continues at the KNUST CCB Auditorium in Kumasi on May 25, and concludes at the Eusbett Hotel in Sunyani on June 1, 2024.
