Popular UN representative, Dr. Kwame Owusu Fourdjour, known as Dr UN has insisted he never used United Nations’ name to organized his award scheme.
Multiple award-winning musician, Desmond Kwesi Blackmore known as D-Black, in an interview with Nana Ama McBrown on United Showbiz programme, said he accepted to attend the award scheme because the invitation letter and brochure he received were under the name of United Nations(UN).
According to him, he was also attracted by the list of names of dignitaries and musicians who were invited to the awards scheme. However, D-Black said none of the dignitaries or musicians were present.
United Nations also came out with a press statement to de-associate themselves from the awards scheme which was organized by Dr UN after photos from the awards scheme went viral on social media.
Dr UN has become the next scam person hitting the internet with his fake awards, but in a lengthy interview with Ababio Santana monitored by GhanaArticles.com, the diplomat stated he never used UN name to give awards to the award winners.
