Altercation in Parliament as Kennedy Agyapong Clashes with Ngleshie-Amanfrom MP Sylvester Tetteh

A dramatic scene unfolded in Parliament today as tempers flared and fists nearly flew between two Members of Parliament. The notorious Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, representing Assin Central and former NPP Presidential hopeful, found himself at the center of yet another controversy as he engaged in a physical altercation with Sylvester Tetteh, the MP for Ngleshie-Amanfrom.

In a video capturing the heated exchange, Agyapong was seen aggressively approaching Tetteh, exchanging words before things escalated. Despite Tetteh’s attempt to walk away from the confrontation, Agyapong pursued him, almost instigating a full-blown brawl.

Thankfully, the situation was defused by the intervention of another MP who stepped in to escort Tetteh away, preventing what could have been a deeply embarrassing incident for both parliamentarians. Agyapong’s hot-headed nature seems to once again have landed him in hot water, underscoring the need for cooler heads and restraint within the esteemed halls of Parliament.
