Renowned television presenter Berla Mundi has strongly reacted to the disappointing performance of the senior national football team, the Black Stars, in the ongoing AFCON 2024 in Cote d’Ivoire. Following their inability to secure a victory in the group phase, where a late collapse resulted in a 2-2 draw against the Mambas of Mozambique, Berla Mundi took to her social media platform to express her sentiments.

In a post on her X account, the newlywed TV personality conveyed her disappointment and called for significant action. Berla Mundi demanded that each member of the Black Stars team be responsible for paying utility bills, as well as the salaries of every Ghanaian, for an entire year. This, she believes, would serve as compensation for the embarrassment the team has brought upon the nation during the continental tournament.

The Black Stars, led by coach Chris Hughton, initially held a comfortable lead with two well-taken penalties by Jordan Ayew. However, a late surge by the Mambas saw them come from behind, leaving Ghanaians and football enthusiasts worldwide disheartened.
