Upper East Region : Five Shot Dead  in Binduri by Unknown Gunmen

In a shocking incident, about five individuals have lost their lives in a ruthless assault carried out by unidentified assailants in Binduri, situated in the Upper East region. The grim incident unfolded as armed men descended upon a market in Binduri on Monday, opening fire indiscriminately.

Hamza Amadu, the Municipal Chief Executive for Bawku, confirmed the harrowing incident to Citi News. Reports suggest that the victims, primarily women, were simply engaged in their regular business activities when the gunmen launched a sudden and violent attack.

Expressing deep concern, Amadu highlighted the grim reality that the current count of casualties may escalate, leaving room for the possibility of additional victims. The aftermath of the attack has left the community in shock and mourning.
