Lilwin Alleges Receiving Threats Following Intention to Endorse Political Party

Ghanaian entertainer Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin, has reported receiving threats after announcing intention to endorse a political party for the upcoming 2024 elections.

The versatile Kumawood actor had previously declared his plan to unveil his chosen party and drop a campaign song on December 1. However, in a video shared on Instagram, Lilwin disclosed receiving anonymous calls cautioning him against recording a campaign song for any political group.

The callers, not revealing their party affiliation, warned Lilwin against releasing any political endorsement track. Undeterred by the threats, Lilwin expressed his determination to release the song, stating his readiness to face potential consequences.

In a bold move, Lilwin set a condition for the perpetrators, stating that if they reimburse him for the $1,500 studio fee, expenses paid to his lyricists, and other production costs incurred, he would reconsider his decision.
