A distressing incident occurred yesterday, November 21, 2023, resulting in the untimely demise of a Master’s student from the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS). According to reports, the student was making his way back from an evening class, approximately between 8 to 9 pm, when he was accosted by assailants along the UPSA-UGBS stretch.
In a harrowing turn of events, the student bravely resisted the robbers’ attempts, leading to a fatal outcome as he was forcefully pushed into the path of an oncoming vehicle. Tragically, this led to the loss of his life.
Following this alarming incident, students are strongly advised to exercise heightened caution when traversing the said route, especially during the evening hours, emphasizing the importance of vigilance and safety measures.
