Dignitaries Gather to Bid Farewell to Former First Lady Theresa Kufuor
President Nana Akufo-Addo and First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo were observed arriving at the State House forecourt for the funeral proceedings honoring the late Former First Lady, Theresa Kufuor. The President engaged in warm exchanges with Former President John Kufuor, relatives of the deceased, as well as various dignitaries and governmental figures present at the event.
Former President John Dramani Mahama, alongside the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Flagbearer for the 2024 elections, with his spouse Mrs. Lordina Mahama, arrived earlier, joining hands with the leadership of the opposition NDC to pay their final respects to Ghana’s late Former First Lady, Theresa Kufuor. This solemn occasion witnessed a gathering of esteemed personalities from both political spheres, coming together to honor and bid farewell to a revered figure in Ghana’s history.
