Information Ministry to Host Stakeholder Forum for Media Support Program Impact Assessment

In accordance with its mission to enhance the Public Communications Sector, the Information Ministry, in collaboration with various stakeholders, is set to organize a one-day Stakeholders’ Forum to Evaluate the Effects of Media Support Programs.

To address the critical challenges facing the Media Industry, the Ministry initiated media support programs in 2019 and has been actively implementing them over the past four years. As part of its commitment to excellence, the Ministry intends to reassess the impact of these programs and review the strategies for their medium-term execution.

The forum is slated for Tuesday, November 7, at 2 p.m. and will be hosted at the Conference room of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC). The event’s theme is “Assessing the Impact of the Media Support Programs.”

The Ministry has made provisions for virtual participation via its Facebook page to ensure that interested parties can contribute to the discussion.
