In a recent interview on GTV’s Breakfast Show, the renowned Ghanaian music duo, Keche, extended their support to Asamoah Gyan, the iconic football figure known as Baby Jet, in the wake of his recent divorce. The court ruling, which concluded a three-year legal battle on October 31, 2023, granted Gifty Gyan, Asamoah’s ex-wife, a divorce and awarded her ownership of Asamoah Gyan’s UK mansion, a four-bedroom house in Spintex, Accra, and other properties.
Keche, comprised of Joshua Kojo Ampah and Andrew Kofi Cudjoe, emphasized their solidarity with Asamoah Gyan during this challenging period and urged him to accept the court’s decision gracefully. The duo expressed the sentiment that marriage is a beautiful institution, recognizing that challenging times may arise, but they advocated for couples to cultivate tolerance and understanding.
Furthermore, Keche acknowledged Asamoah Gyan’s role as a responsible father, highlighting his commitment to caring for his biological children in light of the divorce. They also underlined the unfortunate reality of divorce, urging people to approach such situations with tolerance and maturity.
