Electoral Commission Announces 2023 Voters Registration Exercise Starting on September 12th

The 2023 Voters Registration Exercise, set to begin on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, has been officially announced by the Electoral Commission. This registration initiative will take place across all 268 district offices.

The primary purpose of this registration drive is to enroll individuals who have reached the age of 18 since the previous registration in 2020. Additionally, it provides an opportunity for those who were unable to register previously due to various reasons.

To participate in this registration process, eligible individuals must visit the District Office in their place of residence. They can complete the registration by presenting either their Ghana Card or Passport as identification. Alternatively, individuals without these ID cards can still register by providing the details of 2 guarantors who are already registered voters.
