Content Creator, Wode Maya, Makes History As The First Ghanaian On YouTube To Receive 1M Subscribers Gold Plaque/Gold Play Button

Berthold Kobby Winkler Ackon aka Wode Maya is a Ghanaian YouTuber/ Aeronautical Engineer.

His first YouTube video was recorded in a bus while he was still studying in China.

The 2017 debut video which he took of empty seats beside him in a bus while other passengers stood because of his skin color launched him into an unforeseen multimillion cedi career.

Wode Maya is arguably the only Ghanaian content creator who have travelled the world especially Africa, bringing a new definition to the African story by highlighting African businesses which are transforming the continent one at a time.

At an all content creators ceremony where he warmed his million dollar mansion and opened his creators studio ( a one stop place for all creators on the continent) , he unveiled Ghana’s very first YouTube Gold play button .
