Akuapem Poloo Turns Motivational Speaker After Spending 8 Days In Nsawam Prison

Controversial actress and video vixen Rosemond Alade Brown famed as Akuapem Poloo has been freed from spending this year’s Christmas in Nsawam prison following her release.

When the Accra High Court earlier this month threw away her appeal case and ordered her to go back to prison and serve her 90-days sentence, many Ghanaians said the actress would get the chance to spend this year’s Christmas with her son and family.

Earlier on GhArticles.com reported that the actress has been released from prison and slapped with a fine to replace her jail term.

This comes on the back of the latest ruling by a Court of Appeal on Wednesday, December 15, to stop a custodial 90-day sentence she was serving and replace it with a fine of GHS 12,000.

The ruling was after her lawyer, Andy Vortia, made an appeal against the High Court’s dismissal of her initial appeal which ruled for her to complete the 82-day term.

Akuapem Poloo has since paid her fine of 1,000 penalty units equivalent to GHS12, 000.

The money was paid to the Judicial Service with receipt of payment issued to her lawyers.

The actress had served eight days before her bail.

Acting on the initial sentence, a three-panel bench of the Court of Appeal ruled that the decision was not to quash the initial ruling, as it was in the right direction.

One of the main reason the court send offenders to prison is to help reform their old character and attitudes so they can become a better person in society.

It seems Poloo’s life has been transformed after spending 8-days in Nsawam prison. The Waboka crooner has now turned a public motivational speaker after her release from jail.

In a new post sighted on her IG page, she shared some photos while encouraging her fans to never give up in life and urged them to always put their trust in God while trusting the process.

According to the mother of one, when you feel pressed, under pressure, crushed and darkness around your life, it means you are undergoing transformation.

“🍇Grapes must be crushed to make wine!
💎Diamonds form under pressure!
Olives are pressed to release oil!

Seeds grow in darkness.

When ever you feel crushed, under pressure , pressed, or in darkness, you’re in a powerful place of transformation!
GOD OVER EVERYTHING 🙌🙏
Trust the process!👌” she captioned her post.
