Legendary Hiplife rapper Reggie Rockstone has stated that he is a Waakye seller.
Reggie said there is no need to reply to the claims made by Shatta Wale that Hiplife artistes are poor.
He revealed that his main trade now apart from music is running a pub and selling Waakye. He added that he together with his wife have been running the Waakye business and pub for a long time now and have had great personalities like rapper Sarkodie, Idris Elbar amongst others patronizing him.
“Waakye is my brand. The Waakye has been my food since upbringing. My mother even made a video explaining how Waakye was introduced into my life. So Waakye has been in my life from infancy. We are trying to make it international.” He said.
He added that he has been running the Waakye business for about 10 years now and the business is really running smooth and good during the covid-19 period because, he is always in the news and this has made lots of people purchase his Waakye from which he’s making a lot of sales than ever.
“This has been the biggest so far. In fact we have never sold this much ever before. We are moving as much as 300 packs of Waakye a day.”
