‘Stop The Attack Mechanism Against Artistes And Stop Deceiving Ghanaians’ – Angry Stonebwoy Fires Rex Omar Again After Collecting Ghc2,000 As Royalties

Multiple award-winning musician, Stonebwoy has descended heavily on the President of GHAMRO, Rex Omar again in his latest tweet.

Recently, the dancehall sensation lamented on the amount he received as royalties from the GHAMRO when he paid a visit to Ghana’s High Commissioner to United Kingdom.

In a video which went viral over the weekend, Stonebwoy disclosed that the highest amount he has ever received as royalties from GHAMRO was Ghc2,000 while swearing on her mother’s grave.

His shocking revelation got the Ghana’s High Commissioner to UK, Papa Owusu-Ankomah surprised.

According to him, he and his lawyers have have had many meetings with Rex Omar and the GHAMRO executives but none of the meetings proofed futile.

Papa Owusu-Ankomah quizzed that what happens to all his songs being played almost every minute on the streets.

Stonebwoy has stepped up his campaign for a better royalty dues in the Ghana music industry as he has launched a fresh attack on the leadership of the GHAMRO.

In a new tweet sighted on Twitter, Stonebwoy charged Rex Omar and GHAMRO to stop attacking artistes who stand to fight for their right.

He added that they should stop throwing dust into the eyes of the people, making the musicians looking greedy and unreasonable for demanding better money as royalties.
