Multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie is currently trending on social media after a throwback of his family popped up online.
The old photo has Sarkodie, his mother and brother. In photo sighted online, Sarkodie’s mother is seen wearing kaba and slit standing in the middle while the rapper stood boldly on her right and his brother on the left side.
The Happy Day hitmaker and his brother gave a serious look into the camera while their mother looked away from the camera.
A few munites after the photo was upload on to Instagram, social media users flooded the comment session to share their thoughts.
Some said Sarkodie’s daughter Titi is direct photocopy of her father.
Others also believed that the Adonai crooner never came from a poor background as many people have thought it to be so.
Their assertions are based on the fact that Sarkodie’s mother was wearing kaba and slit.
They claim only rich people could afford such dress in those days. Another person added that he grew up in Tema too and saw Sardodie’s mother and family and can testify that the rapper came from a rich family.
