Black Queens Skipper, Elizabeth Addo Blast GFA For Being Discriminatory Over Male And Female Footballers

Black Queens player, Elizabeth Addo also known as Ama Pele has slammed the Ghana Football Association for being discriminatory.

The Black Queens skipper comment comes after the GFA on twitter celebrated Thomas Partey on his 28th birthday.

The Deputy captain of the Black Stars turned 28-years yesterday and the GFA couldn’t keep mute.

“Special Birthday wishes to the Deputy Captain of the Black Stars & @Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey. Wishing you a lot success stories in the coming,” GFA tweeted.

Elizabeth Addo got angered after sighting her eyes on the tweet from GFA to celebrate Partey.

According to her, the GFA gives more attention to the male footballers compared to the female footballers.

In a retweet, Ama Pele quizzed why cant female players and coaches also receive equal share of the celebrations from GFA.

“Why can’t female players and their coaches be celebrated as well? We serve the same Ghana as the Male players and their coaches,” she asked.

Elizabeth Addo is a Ghanaian footballer who plays as a forward for Djurgårdens IF of the Swedish Damallsvenskan.

She is also the captain of the Ghana women’s national football team.
