Obinim’s lawyer has disclosed why he was rushed to the hospital after bail was granted him.
He disclosed that Obinim was transferred to another hospital because where he was admitted initially wasn’t helping him.
He was initially admitted at the police hospital but that wasn’t helping his condition hence his transfer to a private hospital.
According to his lawyer, the head of the International God’s Way church has a peculiar heart condition which couldn’t guarantee his health safety.
Lawyer Poku Adusei, the lawyer of Obinim said:
“We has to transfer him so that the doctors can work on him so that he can get back to normal life. He has had a heart condition for sometime now and only his private doctors can manage it”.
He went on to accuse the police at Kaneshie for frustrating his bail process.
According to the Lawyer, family and friends were ready to bail the pastor but the police delayed the process.
Bishop Daniel Obinim was charged with Publication of false news and forgery of documents. He was also granted a bail of hundred thousand Ghana cedis.
He will however appear again in court on June 1 ,2020 for some questioning. However, he’s still under investigations for other accusations leveled against him.
