Leticia Kyere Pinamang’s best friend, a JHS student who passed away under tragic circumstances in Sunyani in the Bono region, has spoken on the girl’s death.
Leticia, 14 years of age, was found hanging by a rope in the dinning hall of her school, Miracle Prepatory School.
Initial reports had suggested that Leticia had committed suicide and even left a note explaining why.
But in a video sighted by Ghanaarticles.com, the deceased’s sister has denied the reports that Leticia took her life.
Leticia’s mother also claimed that a doctor has said Leticia was killed before she was hanged.
She gave the different indications that, according to the doctor, people exhibit when they are hanged alive but added that Leticia did not have any.
“According to the doctor, there was no sign of death by hanging. Her tongue didn’t protrude, she didn’t pass any faecal matter or urine. And that means, she was dead before getting hanged”, her statement translates.
Meanwhile, Leticia’s best friend shared the last conversations she had with her before her sudden death.
According to her, after their morning class they were dispersed to take their bath, which Leticia did and went for their morning devotion.
She further added that she met Leticia outside during the church service. She asked her why she’s sitting outside while service is ongoing.
According to her, Leticia said she came to give a scarf to someone who had sent her. Leticia then left to the dinning hall.
She said she later heard one student screaming from the dinning hall but the second scream from the student got their attention and they all rushed to see what was happening, only for them to find out Leticia hanging by a rope in the dinning hall.
She concluded that Leticia was an introvert person, who kept a lot things she went through inside her.
