Big news for Ghana as Twitter announces the establishment of their Africa Headquarters in Ghana.
Twitter makes this step after Facebook which announced establishment of its Africa office in Nigeria in October of 2020.

Although Facebook has been already operating remotely in Nigeria to serve the African continent, they have plans of establishing an office in Nigeria in the second quarter of 2021, the office will be a bigger step to bring the tech giant closer to Africans.
Information reaching us indicates that the tech giant Twitter is only recruiting people to work remotely for now as they have future plans of establishing a major office complex in Ghana soon.
President Akufo-Addo upon hearing the announcement by Twitter jumped in celebration as he described the news as “excellent for Ghana.”
The Minister for Communications, Miss Ursula Owusu-Ekuful also reposted the twitter to share the joy with Ghanaians.
She also described the news as a great news for our local and vibrant community.
