Ghana’s political elections has been characterized as a eight-year term since 1992, meaning no ruling government has ever gone beyond eight years in office.
This comes shortly after Economist Intelligence Unit’s (EIU) latest research conducted results projecting victory for NDC in 2024.
However, Dr. Clement Apaak MP for Builsa South has sent a stem warning to NDC party saying they may lose the election should they replace John Mahama with a new candidate.
His comment comes following the campaign to have former President John Mahama to be the National Democratic Congress’ 2024 presidential candidate is in full swing.
Dr. Clement Apaak said without mincing words that NPP will easily break the eight years power cycle should the NDC present a new candidate for the 2024 elections.
