Multiple award-winning American rapper, Dwayne Michael carter Jr, widely know as Lil Wayne has thanked former US president Donald Trump after he was pardoned.
The “Sucker Pain” hitmaker who was facing 10years in jail was granted clemency under Trump administration.

Lil Wayne had pleaded guilty to illegal possession of gun on 11th December 2020, after he was arrested December 2019.
The “Love Me” crooner took to his twitter page to pen a thank you note and appreciated the former US president for granting him clemency.
His tweet read, “I want to thank President Trump for recognizing that I have so much more to give to my family, my art, and community. I also want to thank @bradfordcohen for working so diligently to secure another chance for me. Love!” – Dwayne Michael carter Jr.
