Carlos Ahenkorah Apologies For Snatching Ballot Papers

The incident involved the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Tema West MP, Carlos Ahenkorah who walked up to the table where the ballots were being counted and snatched a handful.

“Just as my colleague from the other side took the ballot box away on 3 occasions, I also grabbed a few ballot papers before they could be counted so as to force a rerun”, he said.

Mr. Ahenkorah has however apologized for his act and even though most social media users find the incident hilarious, I think it was an embarrassing situation and also a dent on the image of the Ghanaian parliament.
