Ghanaian media personality and boxer, Bukom Banku has explained why he bleached his skin.
Speaking in an interview with SVTV, he said though Ghanaians have been jabbing him for presenting himself differently as compared to his old days, he did that for a specific reason which he is currently benefiting from.
According to him, he realized that his presence on the Ghanaian internet and social media is not felt anymore.

He is fading out of the system and so he needed to do something which will bring him back to his glory days again hence his decision.
However, he asserted that after his decision, someone closed to him advised him to stop because but it does not speak well of him
”This bleaching is for a joke. My name was coming down small, so had to do something to revive my name in Ghana and people will shout fresh, fresh. When I bleaching myself, my name also wakes up but my big father tells me that make I stop so I stop,.”
