The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has rejected the final results of the Presidential elections declared by the Electoral Commission (EC).
Last night the EC Chairperson, Mrs Jean Mensa declared the National Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Akufo-Addo as the president elect.

He polled 6,730, 413 which is 51.59% while NDC flagbearer, John Mahama had 6, 214, 889 which gives him 47.36% of the total votes cast.
However, Mr. Haruna Iddrisu said in a press conference that the NDC will not accept the 2020 presidential election results.
He said, “We will resist it, for emphasis let me repeat, we roundly reject and out-rightly reject the declaration of the sitting president as the winner of the elections.”
