The flagbearer of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Rev. Christian Kwabena Andrews, popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom is in big trouble.
About 150 polling agents for GUM are alleging that Osofo Kyiri Abosom has refused to pay them for working for his party during the elections yesterday.
According to the aggrieved agents, they were approached by some pastors from Osofo Kyiri Abosom’s church to act as polling station agents prior to the general elections.

They agreed to pay them GHc200, however, after the elections they refused to pay them the agreed fee instead gave them GHc40.
The agitated agents alleged they were assaulted by some of pastors of the church and they also used pepper spray to disperse the agitated agents.
However, Osofo Kyiri Abosom is yet to respond to the allegations leveled against him.
