‘If Corruption Was a Sport in the Olympics, NDC Would Have Won a Gold Medal in it’- Akosua Manu Tells NDC

The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority, Akosua Asaa Manu has said the National Democratic Congress are so corrupt that their founder, the late Jerry John Rawlings had de-associate himself from the party.

The former Deputy Director of Communications at the office of the First Lady made this assertion during a panel discussion on Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV.

According to her, if corruption was a sport in the Olympics, NDC would have won a gold medal in it.

Explaining her claim, she noted that whiles the former president JJ Rawlings was alive he disclosed on countless occasions that his own party were corrupt.

She cited some examples like the air-bus scandal and some contracts which were allegedly awarded to the former president Mr John Mahama’s brother, during his tenure.
