The 67th Independence Day Parade at the Tamale Jubilee Park on Wednesday, March 6, was marred by a concerning incident as a total of 72 people collapsed due to severe dehydration from the harsh weather conditions.

Among those who collapsed were students, service personnel, and soldiers, all of whom had been standing in the scorching sun for hours during the parade. The intense heat and lack of adequate hydration are believed to have led to their collapse.
