Wednesday Heavy Rainstorm Causes Flooding in Accra

A rainstorm that moved westward from southern Togo on Wednesday May, 2024 has caused significant flooding in various parts of southern Ghana, including Accra.

The affected regions are Aflao, Keta, Anloga, Ho, Akatsi, Somanya, Tema, Koforidua, and Begoro.

Residents have shared numerous videos on X, highlighting the difficult conditions they face during heavy rainstorms.

Many people were stranded as waterlogged roads have left vehicles stranded, with some breaking down in the middle of the street.
