President Akufo-Addo, Veep Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and other dignitaries bid farewell to former President Jerry John Rawlings’ mother, Madam Victoria Agbotui as she is laid to rest today.
In a video sighted by Ghanaarticles.com, the former president JJ Rawlings is seen dressed in all black as he paid his last respect to his mother. Then followed by his wife, children and other family members, who were dressed in all white.

Mrs Konadu Rawlings is seen weeping uncontrollably as she bid farewell to her mother-in-law.
President Akufo-Addo, Veep Bawumia and other dignitaries also had the opportunity to bid farewell to the former president’s mother, Madam Victoria Agbotui.
Madam Victoria Agbotui passed way on Thursday, September 24, 2020, at age 101. She died after battling with short sickness.
