When it comes to fashion, different types of fabrics and textures can be used in styling or designing outfits. For the spring summer collection, some textures however became a trend among designers and were popularly used in designing the collection.

For example, the use of sequin fabrics was quite popular in the SS22 collection and this was used by fashion brands like Gucci and Valentino. Valentino alongside other fashion brands also made high use of feathers in designing clothes and accessories. Fringes were also popular among the ss22 collection and this can be seen on fashion brands like Dior and Fendi.

Crochet clothes and accessories also made the list of texture trends in spring summer 2022 and an example of a fashion brand that used this is Chloe. Netted and mesh clothes are also a texture that gained popularity in the SS22 collection.
