It’s not every day that someone is awarded a Pulitzer Prize who isn’t a journalist in America!
Yet, Darnella Frazier has courageously made herself worthy of the award.

Most people might not be familiar with the name Darnella Frazier.
She is the young woman who bravely recorded the over 8-minute ‘I can’t breath’ saga.
The video which was recorded more than a year ago captured a black man who was wrongfully arrested and strangled to his death whilst shouting the words, ‘ I can’t breath’.
The victim, Goerge Floyd was taken out of his car and forcefully made to lye face flat on the ground whilst a police officer exerted pressure on his neck.

Darnella’s courage has led her to be called to receive the prestigious honor, including former Pulitzer Prize winner Juror Roy Peter Clark.
