Akwaboah Jnr., born Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr., hails from Mampong Beposo, Ghana, and is recognized for his prowess in highlife and hiplife genres.
He is the son of highlife musician Kwadwo Akwaboah, a legacy he has carried forward with his own musical achievements.
His songwriting skills have garnered acclaim, particularly with hits like “Daa Ke Daa” for Becca and “Ayeyi Ndwom” for DSP Kofi Sarpong, both of which won awards at the 2010 Ghana Music Awards. Akwaboah Jnr. was honored as the “Song Writer of the Year” for “Daa Ke Daa”, solidifying his reputation as a gifted composer.
