Stonebwoy Takes His Turn On “Fire For Fire”.

Award winning reggae dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy took his turn on fire for fire with Countryman Songo.

The artiste was interviewed on Adom TV by Countryman Songo where he aired his views on some ongoing issues especially with the effects of Covid-19 on social activities.

Stonebwoy disclosed that before the novel Coronavirus became intensive in Ghana, he was in America. He stated that he was using face masks to protect himself even before the influx of the virus in the country.

Stonebwoy revealed that he also went through isolation when he came back to the country for two weeks and four days.

When I came back, I isolated myself for two weeks and four days and I realized I was fine because I had no fever or coughs”.

Answering to if he was missing out shows, the dancehall artiste answered affirmatively and added that as at May 11, he was supposed to have ended his last show at London, but due to the Coronavirus it couldn’t come off. He revealed that the May 11 show has been postponed and would come off in September with live nation only if the pandemic would have subsided.

The ‘sobolo’ hitmaker revealed that due to the Coronavirus pandemic, his team suggested that the release of his Album ‘Anloga Junction’ should be postponed. However, he stated the Coronavirus has rather aided in promoting the album when it was released.

He added that “the Anologa Junction is a continuation of Epistles of Mama” which was released three years ago.

The dancehall artiste cleared the air based on the controversy in town concerning the fact that he said Nigerian rappers go through Ghanaian artiste in order to ‘blow’.

He admitted that he said it but the exaggeration of headlines is what is causing the controversy, because it was just sharing of ideas on Ghanaian-Nigerian music with Nigerian , Dortu of Cool Fm.

He advised everyone to go by the precautionary measures as advised by the president and frontline health workers. He also acknowledged the efforts of frontline workers in the fighting of this pandemic.
