Stephen Amoah Appointed Deputy Finance Minister, Replaces Late John Kumah

President Akufo-Addo has announced the appointment of Dr. Stephen Amoah, Member of Parliament for the Nhyiaeso Constituency, as the new Deputy Minister for Finance. This decision comes following the unfortunate passing of Deputy Finance Minister and MP for Ejisu, Dr. John Kumah, on March 7.

Dr. Amoah, who previously served as Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, will now assume his new role with immediate effect, as confirmed by Eugene Arhin, the Communications Director at the Presidency.

In light of this appointment, President Akufo-Addo has nominated Hon. Kofi Ahenkorah Marfo, Member of Parliament for Achiase, as the Deputy Minister-designate for Trade and Industry. The President has urged Parliament to expedite the approval process for Marfo, allowing him to commence his duties promptly.
