Some residents of Prestea-Himan in the Western Region took to the streets on Thursday, September 7, 2023, in protest of the poor road conditions in their area. They are demanding urgent repairs to the 19-kilometer road connecting their town to the municipal capital in Bogoso. They claim that the deteriorating road has effectively isolated their community from the municipal capital, despite numerous appeals to the government for its reconstruction.
In a show of unity, residents donned red clothing and carried placards to express their plea. They marched through two towns to highlight the urgency of the situation.
