Prophet El Bernard Supports Gospel Singer Edward Akwasi Boateng With a Car and Scholarships For His Children Amid Financial Struggles

Gospel singer Edward Akwasi Boateng,  known for hits like “Makoma So Ade,” has received a generous gesture of support from Prophet Bernard El Bernard, the head pastor of Spirit Life Revival Ministry in Accra. Amid Boateng’s financial challenges, Prophet El Bernard has provided him with a new car, full scholarships for his children to university, and a monthly allowance to ease his burdens.

In a viral video online, Boateng is seen being called to the front of the church, where Prophet El Bernard explains his decision to support the artist. Additionally, a car was presented to Boateng at the Spiritual Revival Ministry, where he worshipped.

Boateng, visibly moved to tears by the unexpected gesture, expressed profound gratitude to Prophet El Bernard for standing by him during his lowest moments. The support comes at a crucial time for the gospel artist, whose recent financial struggles, including selling pen drives and CDs, have sparked discussions on social media.

Boateng has been candid about his marital crisis, which significantly contributed to his current challenges. He previously disclosed selling 17 cars to meet the demands of his now divorced wife, leading to his current financial situation.

Having contributed significantly to the Ghanaian gospel fraternity with songs like “Makoma So Ade,” “Kae Asem A Waka,” and “Mebo Wodin,” Boateng’s recent hardship has been a concern for his large following. Prophet El Bernard’s assistance is expected to significantly improve Boateng’s life and career trajectory.
