The Ghana Police Service has successfully rescued Sylvia Patience Baah, the Airport Services Manager for Emirates Airlines in Accra, following her reported kidnapping.
In a statement, the police confirmed that Sylvia was safely reunited with her family after being abducted near her residence off the Spintex Road on the night of Thursday, November 21, 2024.
Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, has personally spoken with the victim and her family, who are reportedly in good spirits. To provide further support during this challenging time, a team of police medical officers and clinical psychologists has been assigned to assist the family.
The police emphasized their ongoing efforts to apprehend the suspects and bring them to justice.
“We extend our gratitude to those who provided information during the rescue operations and thank the public for their cooperation and support,” the statement added.
