Nebojsa Kapor Appointed as Medeama’s New Head Coach

Medeama, the reigning champions of the Ghana Premier League, have announced the appointment of Nebojsa Kapor, a 37-year-old Bosnian tactician, as their new head coach. Kapor’s contract spans one year initially, with the option to extend for an additional two years in preparation for the upcoming season.

Having previously been involved with clubs like Bechem United and Tema Youth within the Ghanaian league, Kapor brings a familiarity with the league’s landscape. He steps into the role vacated by Evans Adotey, who notably guided the Mauve and Yellow boys from the touchline. Adotey, however, will continue contributing significantly as the technical director, leveraging his experience and expertise to support Medeama’s pursuit of further accomplishments, reminiscent of their previous season’s achievements.

While awaiting official approval from the Ghana Football Association pending paperwork completion, Kapor expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I am very happy to be here and also contribute to the success drive of the champions. This is an ambitious club, and I’m happy with everything going on here in Tarkwa.”

The management of Medeama has wholeheartedly endorsed Kapor, expressing their confidence in his abilities to elevate the team’s performance. They believe Kapor’s leadership will complement the groundwork laid by Evans Adotey, ultimately propelling Medeama to new heights.
